Product video generator

## Product videos with no one on camera

Single image mode turns one packshot into a proper product film with camera moves, lighting and sound. Reference mode builds a spot from a whole set of product photos.

Why product video is scarce

### Great products, static catalog

1. **Studio video is a line item** Filming a product properly means a studio, a rig, an operator and an edit, for every product and every season.
2. **Photos flatten on the feed** A clean packshot converts on the product page but disappears in a feed built for motion.
3. **Multi-angle shots are hard to stitch** You have front, side and detail images. Turning them into one coherent clip is an editor’s job.

How it works

### From packshot to product video

1. **Upload one photo, or a set** Single image mode needs one product photo. Reference mode takes several images of the product.
2. **Describe the shot** Write the idea and the camera move yourself, or let Write with AI suggest the idea, the camera, the sound and an optional voice-over.
3. **Pick resolution and length** Up to 1080p SR and 15 seconds on Seedance 2.0, or up to 30 seconds at 720p on Seedance 2.5.
4. **Export the MP4** Use it as a paid ad, on the product page, or in organic posts.

The product video guide

### Product videos that show quality instead of claiming it

A product video without a person has one job: make the viewer feel the product. The weight of a watch, the gloss of a lipstick, the thickness of honey on a spoon. Good product videos show those details slowly and clearly, so the viewer's brain fills in the rest.

### When to use a product video instead of UGC

| Use a product video when... | Use UGC when... |
| --- | --- |
| The product looks great up close | The product needs explaining |
| You sell on design, craft or texture | You sell on a result or a problem solved |
| You're retargeting people who know you | You're reaching cold audiences |
| You need a clean ad for a product page or a website | You need something that feels like a post |

Many brands use both: UGC to get attention, product films to close the sale on the product page and in retargeting.

### Shots that make products look expensive

1. **The slow push-in.** The camera moves toward the product over a few seconds. Simple and premium.
2. **The texture moment.** Cream spreading on skin, jam lifting on a spoon, a fabric catching light.
3. **The detail pass.** The camera glides over stitching, a clasp, an engraving.
4. **The hand-in shot.** A hand picks the product up or uses it. Scale and realism in one move.
5. **The lifestyle placement.** The product where it lives: a desk, a bathroom shelf, a picnic.

Describe the shot in plain words in your brief ("slow push-in on the watch face, warm light, the second hand moving"). Write with AI suggests shots that suit your category.

### What makes a good source photo

| Good | Avoid |
| --- | --- |
| Product in sharp focus, filling most of the frame | Tiny product in a busy scene |
| Even, soft light | Harsh flash, strong reflections |
| Plain or simple background | Several products competing for attention |
| Readable label or logo | Watermarks and text overlays |

The model animates what it can see. If a detail isn't in the photo, it has to guess, so a clear photo means a more faithful video.

### Keeping the product accurate

The biggest risk in AI product video is the product changing shape, colour or text. AdVideoLab briefs include a product lock: the model is told to keep the label, colours and proportions exactly as in the photo, and not to show sides it can't see. Keep camera moves modest (a push-in, a small orbit) for the most faithful results.

Upload a set of product images and the model composes the ad from all of them.

Resolution up to 1080p SR

Seedance 2.0 renders 480p, 720p, 1080p and 1080p super-resolution; Seedance 2.5 trades resolution for length.

9:16, 3:4, 1:1, 4:3, 16:9 or 21:9 on Seedance 2.0, one per video. Seedance 2.5 follows the shape of your photo.

Camera move and audio bed in the brief

Describe the push-in, the light and the sound you want, or let Write with AI suggest all three, and the model renders them.

FAQ

### Product video generator: common questions

**Does the video show my exact product?**

Yes. The render is built around the photo you upload, so the product in the video is your product, not a look-alike from a library.

**Single image or Reference mode: which should I use?**

Single image is fastest: one photo, one cinematic spot. Reference mode is for when you have several images (angles, details, packaging) and want the video to draw on all of them.

**What resolution can I export?**

Seedance 2.0 goes up to 1080p SR at 4 to 15 seconds. Seedance 2.5 is capped at 720p but runs to 30 seconds. Choose per render.

**What do I need to upload?**

One product photo: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or HEIC, up to 25 MB. Transition mode takes a first and a last frame, and Reference mode takes a set of images. Photos straight from a phone are converted for you.

**How much does it cost?**

Plans are credit-based and self-serve: Starter $55/month for 1,000 credits, Growth $149 for 3,000, Scale $449 for 10,000. There is no free version, but a one-time $3.99 Trial Pass (170 credits) lets you see a real video first. Credits are charged per second of finished video. On Seedance 2.0, 480p costs 10 credits/second, 720p 22 and 1080p 37; on Seedance 2.5, 480p is 13 and 720p 28. A 10-second 480p ad on Seedance 2.0 is 100 credits.

**Do I need to film anything or hire creators?**

No. Upload a product photo, pick a mode and a language, and AdVideoLab generates the video. There is no filming, no casting and no studio. Failed renders are refunded automatically.
