What's a credit?

Credits are charged per second of finished video, and the rate scales with both the quality tier and the resolution. Pick what fits each project. The table shows every rate we charge, and the generator shows the exact figure before you spend anything.

No. Each renewal resets your wallet to the plan amount, so unused credits, including any top-up credits bought during the month, do not carry into the next one. Without a subscription, trial and top-up credits stay on your account until you use them.
Credits pay for finished seconds of video, and the rate depends on the tier and the resolution. On Seedance 2.0: 10 credits a second at 480p, 22 at 720p, 37 at 1080p and 39 at 1080p SR (super-resolution). On Seedance 2.5: 13 at 480p and 28 at 720p. A 10-second 480p ad on 2.0 costs 100 credits, about $5.50 at the Starter rate.
It depends on the quality tier. Seedance 2.0 makes videos of 4 to 15 seconds at up to 1080p SR. Seedance 2.5 goes from 4 to 30 seconds but tops out at 720p. You pick the tier, length and resolution on the Generate page, and the credit cost updates before you click Generate.
Yes. Starter, Growth, and Scale are recurring monthly subscriptions. Each billing cycle refills your wallet to the plan amount. Unused credits from the previous month do not carry over, so after a quiet month the new one starts again at the plan amount. Cancel any time. You won't be charged again, and any credits left in your wallet stay there.
Top-up credits don't expire on their own, so they suit you best if you don't have a subscription. If you are on a subscription, your whole balance, including any unspent top-up credits, is reset to your plan's monthly amount at each renewal, so use top-ups within the current month. Monthly-plan credits are always scoped to the billing cycle.
There is no free version, but the one-time $3.99 Trial Pass gets you a real video before you commit. It covers one 480p video up to 15 seconds long on Seedance 2.0, and Write with AI is included, up to 10 briefs per photo a day. Trial videos carry a small watermark. Pick a plan when you want 720p or 1080p without the watermark.

Failed generations are refunded to your credit balance automatically. If a video finishes but comes out broken or cut short, contact us and we'll look at it and refund where it's our fault.
Credits delivered for the current period are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time and you will not be billed again. The credits you already received stay in your wallet; the plan just stops refilling it.
